| Inhalt: | A new approach is developed that promises a significant improvement in efficiency and emissions and provides the ability to burn hydrogen-rich fuels. For operation on carboncontaining fuels, it enables CO2 capture at low costs. The concept is based on a high pressure air / steam gas turbine cycle using extremely high amounts of steam. The goal of the proposed project is to investigate the combustion fundamentals at ultra wet conditions and to develop the combustion technology which is capable of burning natural gas, hydrogen and syngas at low NOx emissions. |
